Education program
Approximately 660 students will attend over the 2-days
Thursday, September 14, 2023 - 9:30am to 2:30pm
Friday, September 5, 2023 - 9:30am to 2:30pm
These classes are NOT open to the general public and are only for the assigned school groups each day. There is Youth Programming available and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.
The youth are the future of Indigenous cultural revitalization. Giving students opportunities to have hands-on experiences with Elders, Knowledge Keepers and Artists about history, traditions, and craft is an important part of reconciliation in Canada. The ATC Cultural Festival is honoured to have enthusiastic partnerships with the region's school boards, principals and teachers, who have all been eager to have their students participate in the Education Programming at the Festival.
