Learning Lodge

Learning Lodge

The lodge will serve as a ceremonial and a land-based teaching program during the Festival.

The Learning Lodge is a ceremonial symbol during the opening and closing ceremonies. It will be a place for teaching and sharing traditions and stories, enriching participants’ connection to the Indigenous culture. Together, they create a sacred space prayer, honouring traditions and reinforcing the spiritual values that are integral to Indigenous culture and traditions.

Elders and Knowledge Keepers invite all to participate in teachings and learnings, ceremony, and connect with Cree and Dene cultures. On Sunday, all are invited to participate in the traditional closing ceremonies of the ATC Cultural Festival.
