Public Cultural Teachings & Demonstrations

Experience and learn firsthand the traditional knowledge and cultural practices that have shaped Indigenous life on the land since time immemorial. Our public teachings are hands-on, welcoming, and rooted in respect, allowing community members and visitors to connect deeply with culture, food, and ceremony.

Knowledge Keepers hold a sacred role in the preservation and sharing of traditional ways. They are the carriers of stories, songs, language, ceremonies, and land-based teachings passed down through generations. In teaching traditions, Knowledge Keepers ensure that cultural practices remain alive and meaningful, empowering future generations to honour and protect the values, lands, and teachings of their ancestors.
