Elder’s Tent
Our Elders are our teachers, guides, and cultural knowledge keepers.
The Elders’ programming focuses on honouring and celebrating the many contributions and vast knowledge of our respected Elders. They are essential to keeping Indigenous culture alive. The program includes hospitality of making sure our Elders are cared for during the Festival.
Daily Golf-cart shuttle service from parking lots to the Elder’s Tent and all other activities on the festival grounds.
Tea & Bannock at Elder’s Tent
Daily Lunch is served to the Elders in the Elder’s Tent by community members and volunteers.

The Festival is NOT OPEN to the public on this day. The Elder’s Tent will not be available. Education Programming with the region’s schools is the only activity taking place on Thursday.
