Laurine Lepine

Laurine has been practicing her art for the past 10 years, and it is a representation of her Cree heritage. Laurine, from the Mikisew Cree First Nation in Fort Chipewyan, spent most of her life in the construction field, and it wasn’t until she retired that she reconnected with her culture. Taking inspiration from her late mother, she is proud to carry on the tradition. You can often find her sharing her knowledge with others in workshops across the Wood Buffalo region. You can find her on Facebook: Indigenous Arts & Crafts by Laurine.
