Waverly Albert

Waverly Albert is a Status First Nation woman from Fort Chipewyan. For two years she has been practicing her art which is representative of the Dene culture. Waverly first took a beading class in college, and was sent home with a beading kit. She was hooked from there. Waverly has become very passionate about reconnecting with her culture through beading and artwork, and believes that each artist has a unique way of showing their passion through their artwork.
